This mod adds a gravestone to the game, which “spawns” after player`s death. Also this mod generate cemeteries in some villages, and a “Wither’s catacombs”. This is a new huge structure, like stronghold, where you can find a lot of loot, dangerous adventures and a Wither Boss at the end.

This block “spawns” after player`s death.
You can break it with a pickaxe or by breaking ground under it and put it into another place but only on “diggable” blocks: dirt, grass, mycelium, gravel, sand, soul sand and snow. On another type of surface it can be put only when you die.With a small chance, gravestone can spawn zombies and skeletons at night. And in some specific conditions pigzombies and wither skeletons. It will be work only if there is any player in range less 35 blocks, and if ther are less 3 monsters in range of 1 block near it. Also this block contains information about your death, wich can be shown by right click on it. Furthermore this block can contains some loot(but only in generated structures), wich will drop when you destroy it.Wither spawner

This block almost like a default spawner, but it spawns only Wither, and after that will be destroyed by self.

Time trap

This block looks like a nether brick, but it have some specific abilities.
It is a main part of catacombs trap, wich allowed gravestones to spawn monsters . When you step on it time will change to sunset.
It can be break by pickaxe, but drop only if you use pickaxe with silk touch, otherwise it will drop nether brick.

This is a huge structure wich begins at surface and goes very deep underground.
Entrance is a big graveyard with mausoleum at it center, but true size of this structure is much bigger. There are a lot of tunnels inside of it, wich can contains graves, spawners, traps, and surely some treasures. At the end you can find Wither, wich guard nether portal.
This is a rather rare structure wich can be generated only in next bioms: plains, forest, jungle, ice plains and taiga.
Beware there is an ancient curse protecting it from any “inviders”!

Grave loot
Every generated grave contains some loot.
Mostly this are few bones and some rotten meat. But with a rare chance it can contain skeleton or zombie scull too.

But this is not all.
There are exists diffenrent type of graves wich contains some additional loot.

  • 1) Warrior’s grave.
    It can contain almost full diamond/golden/iron(more valuable a rarely) armor(some chance for every item) and sword/bow
  • 2) Miner’s grave.
    It can contain diamond/golden/iron(more valuable a rarely) pickaxe and some diamond/emeralds gold/iron redstone/lasurit
  • 3) Wisard’s grave.
    Here you can find potions/enchanted books and some potion ingredients
  • 4) Worker’s grave.
    It can contain diamond/golden/iron(more valuable a rarely) axe or shovel, and some additional materials…
  • 5) Adventure’s grave.
    Here you can find empty map/clock/compas, writable book, paintings/records, sticks and cookies.

Surely they a in ascending chance order.

How to install Gravestone Mod for Minecraft 1.5.2:

  • Install Mod for Windows
  1. You need Minecraft Forge
  2. Open your minecraft.jar file. This can be found here: C:\Users\(insert computer name here)\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin. It can also be found by searching for “%appdata%” in your start menu. Once you have searched for “%appdata%,” you have to follow the same path as stated above. Open your minecraft.jar with Winrar by simply dragging the .jar into Winrar.
  3. Open the .zip/.rar/folder of your mod and drag and drop the contents into the minecraft.jar.
  4. Delete the META-INF folder in the minecraft.jar. Close minecraft.jar.
  5. Open Minecraft and play!
  6. If your mod doesn’t work properly or you get a black screen at the Minecraft startup: You need Delete your minecraft.jar found here “C:\Users\(insert computer name here)\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin”. Then Open Minecraft, let it auto-update so your .jar can be restord. Attempt to re-install mod (If you want).
  • Install Mod for Mac
  1. Open up your finder application. In the menu that appears full of files, locate the one named Library.
  2. Locate the file named Application-Support. It is usually near the top of the contents inside of the folder labeled Library.
  3. Locate the folder named minecraft. Once inside of the minecraft folder, open the folder labeled bin. This folder contains the minecraft.jar
  4. Slowly double click the minecraft.jar so you are able to rename it. Rename the folder minecraft.jar.zip. It will ask you if you want to use .jar or .zip. Select .zip to save your changes to the folder’s name.
  5. Open the now newly created folder named minecraft.jar.zip which will give you a new folder named minecraft.jar. This will now act as your minecraft.jar
  6. You are now able to drag any .class files needed into the jar to play the mod you wish.
