Ice Shards Mod 1.8, 1.7.10, 1.7.2 is an addon to Glass Shards which makes ice and packed ice also drop shards when broken. These can be crafted back into ice or packed ice. This mod also adds a Frozen Pickaxe which can harvest ice faster and prevents it from turning into water, so you don’t make a mess when building with ice.

The drop chance is configurable separately from Glass Shards, and separately for regular and packed ice. It has compatibility with other mods, just as well as Glass Shards.

How to install Ice Shards Mod:

1. First you need download and install Minecraft Forge and Glass Shards mod
2. Then download this Minecraft mod file at link below.
3. Next, go to %appdata%. It can also be found by searching for “%appdata%” in your start menu.
   
4. Go to .minecraft/mods folder.
5. If the “mods” folder does’nt exist in your PC, you can create one.
6. Then drag and drop the downloaded .jar (or .zip) file into mods folder.
7. Done and Enjoy.
