Once a young prince left his home and family to wander off in the wild. He didn’t wan’t to be a king, he just wanted to be left alone. So he walked, for days, years, searching for some place to live.Then, one day, when the sun stood high above him, he saw something he never expected. A huge wall of stone. It stood right in front of him. He had heard tales of the walls when he was a kid. His dad told him it were remains of old worlds or the beginnings of new ones, and behind those walls, things beyond imagination. The prince knew his goal now, he would have to get to the other side of that wall. So he started looking for ropes, planks and anything that could get him over that wall, but those things were not easy to find and he started to loose faith. He kept looking and realized he would never get enough materials to get over the top of the wall. Hours past. And when the sun went down behind the wall, he saw something! about half way up the wall, there was a hole! the sun was shining right trough it! He looked around him at the materials he did gather and knew, he would have just about enough to get to that hole!

He started building, first he made a pile of dirt, he crafted a shovel from a trees branch and a flat stone he found, then started digging. The first few meters up were easy, but he noticed that he would need more and more dirt for every meter up so he thought of something else! He saw some stones laying around, and rolled them to his pile of dirt, then with another piece of stone he started shaping the rocks, cullular blocks and big slabs, He started to build a stair. Again, it started of very well, but the stones were hard to move, sometimes it took him hours to get a stone in place and the higher he got, the longer it took. So he switched materials again! He started with chopping down a tree with his shovel, that he sharpened with a rock, then he tried to make planks out of the tree. The first few planks were very ugly, and too thin in some places and when he tried to use those, they often broke. But as he kept on making more and more, he started to get good at it. When he had a good pile of planks, he returned to building the stair. He carfed into the wall now and then to reinforce his structure, and made good progress. He worked whenever he could. When he got to about a third to his target, he noticed he started to get low on wood. So he decided to make ladders. He took all of then up the stair, and build up. Then closing in on his target. he started to run out of ladders. and just a few meters before he reached it he ran out. He now had a choice to make, go down and spend more time getting wood, or, try and jump to the edge… He looked up and saw how close he was… Then he climbed up as high as he could, stood up on the highest bit of ladder his feet could find.. And jumped! The edge came closer, he pointed his hands towards it and… grabbed on to the edge, his fingers bearly holding him.. He looked down, and saw his feed dangeling below him, and he saw the hight he had conquered. But he knew he wasn’t there yet..  With all the strength left in his body, the prince pulled his body over the edge. When he looked up, he was amazed. The prince saw a ruin, of a caslte once so mighty and a bridge that led to it. The prince walked to the ruins and knew, he would never leave them.

In the years after his arrival he renovated the castle, and while mining for stones, he found precious metals. He soon became very wealthy and stored all of it in his vault. But after renovating the whole castle, brick by brick, he realized he was alone. And all of his wealth, and all he had done was worthless, because he could not share it with anyone. The prince waited, waited for years and years, waited hoping a traveller, just like him, would come along. But no one came.

He became an old man, sitting on his worthless gold, waiting for someone to come by.
Years later the prince died. Alone. Just like everything he had ever done. All alone.

How to Install Rak”Lazud – The Mountain Castle Map:

1. Download Rak”Lazud – The Mountain Castle Map
2. On windows this can be easily done by opening up the command line, accessible by Windows+R and then typing “%appdata%/.minecraft/saves/” into the command line. (If you’re on a Mac, your save files are in: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/saves/)
3. This will open the saves folder where all the your worlds are stored. Once in that folder all you have to do is paste your downloaded save in
4. Drag your downloader (after unzip) in the zip folderMap into saves folder
5. Close all windows and open Minecraft
6. Select map and play.
