Rancraft Penguins adds thirteen different species of penguins to your world:

Configuration file: The first time you use this mod, it will generate RancraftPenguins.cfg, which allows you to set the following parameters:

• Item IDs, in case of ID conflicts with other mods.
• Spawn frequency of each species. The result of changing these numbers isn’t always what you would expect, but generally, a higher number increases the probability of that species spawning relative to the others.
• How often healthy penguins call. Penguins can get pretty noisy, especially if you tame several of them. Setting this parameter to a number less than nine will give you some relief from the noise.

• 2. Penguin Armor and Weapons: Rancraft Penguins adds four enchantable weapons and several types of armor with special characteristics (swim speed, air use, etc.). The most powerful of the penguin weapons is the Flame Penguin Repeater, which shoots regular arrows and is fully automatic, although the Penguin Katana and Shurikens have their “good points” as well.

How to install  Rancraft Penguins Mod for Minecraft:

Installing Penguins on a Forge-based Client
If your minecraft.jar already has Forge installed, skip to step 2.

• Download & run the Forge installer.
• Download RancraftPengForge and put it in the “mods” directory under .minecraft.
• Meet the penguins!

Installing Penguins on a Forge-based Server
If you’re already using Forge Universal, skip to step 3.

• Download and run the Forge installer, selecting “server” when it runs and put it in your server folder, changing its extension to .jar.
• Run the server once to create the various files and sub directories.
• Download RancraftPengForge and put it in the server’s “mods” directory.
• Meet the penguins!

Installing Penguins on a Bukkit Server
If you’re already using the MPCP-Plus version of Bukkit, skip to step 3.

• Download the MPCP-Plus snapshot here and put it in your server folder.
• Run the server once to create the various files and sub directories: e.g. “java -Xms1024 -jar mcpc-plus-1.4.7-R1.-SNAPSHOT-f528-209.jar -o true”
• Download RancraftPengForge and put it in the server’s “mods” directory.
• Penguins!
