The recreation of the Earth Map is about 16200*32400 blocks big, uses the equirectangular map projection and is based off of the ETOPO1 global reliëf map from the NOAA. One can check it out quite easely on the interactive map which was graciously provided by overviewer.org. And to find your backyard, you can use the converter which can convert any GPS to ingame location!

• The creative version features NO ores, the survival version ofcourse has.
• The creative version features brown mushroom deserts where ocher red deserts would be (australia, america midwest) in the survival version these deserts are just sand.
• The creative version features custom vegetation to match the real vegetation of the earth, also with undecaying leaves! The survival version features default minecraft vegetation.
• The survival version has dungeons, but no mineshafts, villages or temples as far as i’m aware.

How to Install Minecraft The recreation of the Earth Map:

1. Download Minecraft The recreation of the Earth Map
2. On windows this can be easily done by opening up the command line, accessible by Windows+R and then typing “%appdata%/.minecraft/saves/” into the command line. (If you’re on a Mac, your save files are in: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/saves/)
3. This will open the saves folder where all the your worlds are stored. Once in that folder all you have to do is paste your downloaded save in
4. Drag your downloader (after unzip) in the zip folderMap into saves folder
5. Close all windows and open Minecraft
6. Select map and play.
