Arktijaa is one of the last two remaining of his kind, known by many cultures as the frost giants. The giants once thrived throughout the world, and are believed to be the original terraformers of the lands as we see them today. The giants started to die off when the ice that encased the world started to melt away. The frost giants are loners and are extremely territorial. During the “Great Melt” the giants fought among one another to claim the dwindling lands that remained frozen as theirs. By the end of the “Great Melt” only two giants remained. To the south, the giant Antaktijaa and to the north Arktijaa.
